NELSON Wins IIDA Atlanta bob (Best of Best) Awards
NELSON has won two 2013 "bob Awards" from the Atlanta Chapter of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA). The awards are presented annually to honor the region's "best of the best" (bob) interior design projects across several categories.
NELSON was awarded first place in the Small Corporate category for our unique design of the Ogilvy Atlanta office. Ogilvy & Mather is one of the largest marketing communications networks in the world. The firm clearly recognizes that there are parallels between the creativity required to exceed their clients’ expectations and the creativity they must stimulate and support in their own workplace. Together with NELSON, Ogilvy explored issues such as global connectivity, cultural diversity, collaboration and flexibility in a Digital Lab environment.
An Award of Merit (2nd place) also was awarded in the Sustainability category for our work with the Atlanta office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. This LEED® Commercial Interiors Gold certified law firm occupies 68,000 SF in a mixed-use Midtown development. Consistent architectural, finish and technology elements were redefined, reinterpreted, and implemented in the Atlanta office, promoting the Seyfarth Shaw culture and reinforcing this brand.
Congratulations to our clients and to all the Teammates who worked on creating these award-winning spaces!
