Creating a Healthy Environment

NELSON created a multi-clinic space from an abandoned shopping complex that included grocery, hardware and retail stores. Instead of produce and hammers, people now have an engaging environment to access a variety of orthopedic services.

Focusing on Student Services

To support the growing student population while improving function  and campus aesthetics, NELSON designed a 58,000 SF additional to a 1970s student services building.  The project included a new "front door" for the building, the renovation of 43,000 SF of the existing building and a sustainability action plan.

Focusing on New Ways of Working

Continuing to build on a successful, 10-year relationship, NELSON recently completed the tenant fit-up of two build-to-suit buildings for Biogen Idec's corporate headquarters totaling 507,000 SF.  The process included abandoning a 20-year-old conventional office standard in favor of a cross-functional, open plan that supports teaming and collaboration.
