NELSON Selects Laura Plymette to Lead Marketing Efforts

February 17
Laura Plymette Director of Marketing at NELSON

The director of marketing for the organization is an important strategic and operational role. It requires working with senior leadership in NELSON, Brinjac Engineering, and RipBang Studios to successfully articulate our brand while managing the team that drives the wide range of activities related to bringing our brand and proposals to market. Laura Plymette has been serving as the interim Director of Marketing for the firm over the past 6 months. During that time we have evaluated the requirements of this important position and both internal and external candidates to serve in it. Given the process, we are so very pleased to announce that Laura Plymette has been officially promoted to Director of Marketing for NELSON. She brings nearly 15 years of experience in all facets of marketing and sales support to the position. During her time as interim leader we have been particularly pleased with her demonstrated ability with building and implement marketing plans; developing and analyzing departmental metrics; and focusing on elevating the marketing department’s performance and role in ways that are both strategic and creative.

Laura first came to NELSON after we joined operations with H2L2. She has been an excellent example of advancing within our increasingly broad organization. During that time, she has moved quickly up the ranks from Coordinator to Marketing Manager, and now Director.

Please join us in congratulating her on this new role.
