Christine Veenendaal grew up in Belgium under the tutelage of her father, Aart Veenendaal, who through his building of two successful international companies, exposed her to European, North American, and Middle Eastern business cultures from a young age. After graduating with a degree in business administration from the University of Northern Colorado in 1981, she joined a French real estate development firm where her capacity to speak four languages augmented her effective management of multiple commercial assets in North America. In 1992, she graduated with a second degree in Interior Design from AIU and eventually joined SmithCave. Christine was promoted to partner in 1996, and the firm officially became VeenendaalCave in 2000.
With a penchant for fostering an open and value-based culture, growing talent from within, and clear and concise goal setting, Christine managed the steady, measured growth from 12 to 90 teammates over a 20 year period. With Christine at the financial helm, VCave was not only a highly profitable firm, but became synonymous with quality, character and value - regularly winning awards not only for design but for one of the top best places to work in Atlanta.
Today she has found a match for her passion for creativity, principle, and character-based business solutions with NELSON, and is committed to leading and expanding the Southeastern Region and sharing her expertise with NELSON teammates throughout the organization.
Christine is a member of Commercial Real Estate Women where she is actively involved with the Leadership committee, and is a member of the Georgia Chapter of NAIOP.
