The design of the Tyco Fire Suppression & Building Services global headquarters began by listening to our client to fully understand their vision for the look and feel of the space. The design of the office space incorporates an open ceiling, exposing the building structure, mechanical systems, electrical and data distribution and, most important to the client, the fire protection systems.
Exterior views are maximized through the use of full height glass at the private offices and by aligning the workstations with the direct lines of sight to perimeter windows. Emphasis is placed on creating space that supports cross functional employee collaboration and interaction. An important feature of the design is the provision for a space in the building suitable for regular all hands meetings that is achieved through the design of the lunch room and adjoining training and conference room spaces that can be combined.
Branding features that have been incorporated throughout the buildings reference the patents, products and history of Tyco Fire Suppression & Building Services. The project has been designed to achieve LEED Gold Certification.
