Oklahoma City, OK
NELSON worked with OG&E to reconceptualize a previously traditional and conservative office environment. Embracing the newness of the location and the company’s streamlined operations, OG&E chose to open up their floor plan, eliminating private offices and opting for a light-filled open layout with the incorporation of communal teamwork spaces.
Working closely with both the design architect and architect of record, NELSON’s design solution both benefited from and influenced the direction of the building’s core and shell design. The result of NELSON’s collaborative approach was a fresh, contemporary interior seamlessly coordinated with the exterior of the new facility, and geared at supporting a new generation of workers for OG&E.
