Inovio Pharmaceuticals

East Coast Headquarters
Plymouth Meeting
Inovio Pharmaceuticals

Inovio Pharmaceuticals, a company that is revolutionizing vaccine design through its many patented processes, contacted NELSON to design their new east coast headquarters upon a referral from their real estate broker, Skyline Commercial. Inovio was in the market for a new space that would give them three times the square footage of their existing office in an effort to accommodate company growth stemming from their initial public offering announcement. Inovio sought a space that could energize their employees through bright colors and open collaboration spaces.

Guests are invited to walk through the open work areas of the office in route to the board room situ-ated along the exterior glass line. Smaller conference spaces flank the reception area behind glass par-titions allowing light to fill the suite from all sides.

The spacious and open work areas are configured to be inviting to guests and employees to use the work areas as they please. Writable walls are provided throughout the offices to entice collaboration in every setting. The color palette uses orange and green accents against a neutral blue-grey-white back-ground.

The furniture system, manufactured by Teknion, includes a variety of storage, as well as a personal coat closet for each employee. Shortened fabric panels with top mounted frosted glass accents allow for seated privacy while maintaining the open and collaborative feel.
