Fischer Edit Headquarters Interior Design

Fischer Edit/Modern Music is a state of the art creative editorial, visual effects and finishing house specializing in sound editing and music recording for radio and television commercials for National and International retailers.

This fast growing and highly creative group composed of sound and video editors, graphic designers and recording engineers required a space that pulsed with energy to maintain the staff during their many long days and varied deadlines. Careful planning and attention to detail allowed for exploration of the individual brand amidst the varied groups that compose the organization. The realized design also required that each and every decision was thought through in regards to sustainability and long term affects to nature and their environment.

Fischer Edit/Modern Music required the design team to create a vivid extension of Fischer’s diverse personality. Creative collaboration with Fischer Edit’s staff, chosen contractor and the NELSON design team was imperative and constant through this fast paced project. Flexibility and perseverance led the design team through the many challenges faced throughout this project inclusive of the extremely short schedule of four months as well as a devastating fire within the historic warehouse that resulted in an almost complete re-start of the project due to damage to the partially completed space. Dedication to the pre-established goals of flexibility, subliminal branding techniques and the purist of design principles resulted in an energized and successful space that not only showcased Fischer Edit/Modern Music’s unique personality, but also allows gives them the ability to grow and flex within their space to coincide with their business plan.
