Arbor Philanthropy

A warm and welcoming atmosphere influenced the design language of Arbor Philanthropy, a non-profit group of organizations that services the private wealth of prominent real estate developers. Located in downtown Minneapolis, the 8,000 square foot space is anything from the typical office space, evoking a sense of comfort through a vibrant design concept, colorful furnishings, and one-of-a-kind family heirlooms. Capturing a modern approach to design, the space is open and inviting with collaborative rooms for impromptu meetings, a fully accessible break room, and transparent, glass front offices that allow for natural light infiltration. Enclosed spaces such as a library and meditating phone rooms exist throughout, adding extended privacy for client meetings and confidential conversations. A customized reception area, complete with a reclaimed wooden ceiling, provides guests with a “home away from home” feel upon entering. A culmination of the client’s needs, the finalized space pays homage to the Arbor Philanthropy founders through the placement of antique household pieces while providing employees and clients with a residential-like environment.
