Local Interior Designer Receives Promotion at Top Global Design and Engineering Firm
Effective January 1, 2016, Deanne Erpelding was named a Principal of NELSON’s Minneapolis, MN office. As Principal, Erpelding will share responsibilities for Conceptual Design, Business Operations, Staff Management, Business Development and Client Relationships for NELSON’s Upper Midwest region and it’s growing portfolio of recognizable national brands.

Erpelding brings over 20 years of experience to her new role at NELSON. As a Senior Director for NELSON, she led the full scope of interior design and project management for corporate workplace clients. Most recently she led the Minneapolis NELSON team with the relocation of TCF from downtown Minneapolis to their 400,000 square foot office space at Plymouth Corporate Center, an expansion project for Polaris in Plymouth, MN, and a build-to-suit project for Bayer in Shakopee, MN that included full scope interior design and façade branding services.
Erpelding is an active member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) where she has served in several leadership capacities including President of the Northland Chapter. Additionally, Erpelding has a Bachelor’s of Science in Interior Design from the University of Minnesota.
