IIDA to Induct NELSON’s Scott Hierlinger As 2015-2016 Presid...

We are proud to announce that NELSON’s Scott Hierlinger, IIDA, LEED® AP, Design Director, will be inducted as the International Interior Design Association’s (IIDA) President for the 2015-2016 year on Sunday, June 14, 2015. The official induction by the International Board of Directors will take place at the IIDA Annual Meeting, at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. Under his leadership, the IIDA’s International Board of directors will bring together distinguished design leaders who collectively hold decades of experience and insights into some of the world’s largest design projects. Scott is the current IIDA’s President-Elect.

As Design Director and Co-Principal of NELSON’s Minneapolis office, Scott serves as a corporate design expert with over 21 years of experience. His responsibilities include all aspects of the design process including programming, space planning, design development, construction documentation, and project management. Additionally, Scott is Co-Chair of the NELSON Design Consortium.

“Scott’s passion for design, his portfolio of high-profile innovative projects, and his expertise in the industry make him the ideal candidate to serve as IIDA’s next President,” said IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA, LEED AP in the association’s official release.
