Chicago

NELSON Chicago is a diverse blend of Teammates and home to several of NELSON’s firm-wide centers of excellence.
Chicago

We entered the market in 2003 to service our financial sector clients, including Bank of America and Chase, with the vision of becoming a local leader. A few years later NELSON merged with Chicago based GHK, which contributed over a quarter of a century in strong relationships and allowed NELSON to extend our service offering to many more market sectors.

In June 2012, we implemented a merger with another well recognized Chicago based firm, Torchia and Associates, with extensive corporate experience and specialties in both the law firm and media market sectors.

NELSON's Chicago operations are currently managed by Mitchell Cohen. Our nationally recognized Legal Workplace practice co-leader, Marty Festenstein, is Chicago based. Marty and his team have developed relationships with several AmLaw 100 firms, leveraging the NELSON network to service his law firm clients, often in multiple locations. Currently, in addition to projects with local clients such as Gogo, Red Frog Events, Digitas, Razorfish, ZenithOptimedia and Thermos, national account work being done in Chicago includes Bank of America and Nielsen. For Nielsen alone, over the last three years, the Chicago based core team has designed projects in Kenya, Italy, Korea, China, Switzerland and New York City, to name but a few.
